Out
of his research, Chris Howkins is available as a guest speaker to present
talks on ethnobotany subjects which he has studied.
The
talks are designed to be of general interest but have the emphasis
changed to suit groups with special interest, such as gardening,
family history, local history, natural history etc. Obviously they
are adjusted between general and university levels. These
adjustments are normally made automatically but secretaries are
invited to discuss any particular requirements at the time of booking.
Each
talk is designed to be entertaining as well as informative and no
previous knowledge is required. As so few groups ask for film slides
nowadays these talks are designed to be colourful without artificial
aids. We are always making more talks available. If you would like a complete list
of the talks available please contact us.
